Changed theme Minimalistic
This blog was due to a bit of change. As you notice I've altered the theme to match the main sitehttp://www.bravecobra.com. I've also included a star rating system and added syntax highlighting, which will become very useful in the future. Furthermore I've added plugins to add to add YouTube and Google video's.B2Evolution plugins:

Our server got moved
Again, during the weekend, our server got moved. Now we even changed data provider. All this of course resulted in the dreaded and unwanted downtime. We apologize for the inconvenience.A new theme: Minimalistic
It's been a while since there has been an update on this site, I know. I've been using my blog for doing postings. So I've changed the site to a new theme, based on the Minimalistic theme.Pictures anyone?
I too take pictures sometimes, so it was time to put them on the internet as well. Since they are not intended for everybody, I'll have to approve you as a member once you've registered
. So if you think you are a close and personal friend of mine, go ahead and register. Take a look at http://gallery.bravecobra.com.
My Amazone Wishlist
It was about time I set up a wishlist at amazone.com. You can browse it here:http://amazon.com/gp/registry/3G2KWQZUDVK8Z.
Moved to another blog-engine: b2evolution
As readers of this blog know, I was using wordpress to display my blogmessages. Now I've moved to b2evolutionwhich seems to be much more mature than any other blog-engine I've seen. Anyway I hope this will bring a new era to blog.bravecobra.com.
bcPhpHighlight version 0.1.2
Due to a little typo in the source code bcPhpHighlight was unable to initialize correctly in the latest Postnuke versions. Therefor I provided a new download, namely version 0.1.2. You can of course find that one in the download section (after registration).Mantis on bugs.bravecobra.com
Sometimes we tend to forget the needed issues at hand. Ever since the bugs.bravecobra.com bugtracker started, it seemed it was impossible for already registered users to login to the site. This was due to the fact that I had used a hack to get Mantis to run under Postnuke. Now that the tracker had received its own place, that hack was no longer needed. So I had to adjust the passwords as well, which up until now didn't happen yet.So, should you still have problems logging into bugs.bravecobra.com with an previously created account, please contact me in order to have the problem corrected.
And we're back online
Seems the move to the new location went pretty smooth. We experienced a downtime of no more than three hours. Now hopefully the DNS servers get updated during the next 24 hours and everything should be back to normal.Physical server move
Tonight the server will be physically moved to Amsterdam. This will result in a short downtime of the website. Our apologies! We'll try online again as soon as possible.Happy 2005!!
BraveCobra.com wishes everybody a happy newyear!(And remember that drinking and driving doesn't mix)
Some moving 'round
Since postnuke_frame cannot support Postnuke's Xanthia, the little hack I created to have Mantis (our bugtracker) inside Postnuke, I had to find another solution. What better than to give the bugtracker its very own subdomain: http://bugs.bravecobra.com. I might be persuaded to create a frame solution for Xanthia in due timeThe blog I created (see one of the previous messages) and apparently one I don't seem to use very actively, also got it's own subdomain: http://blog.bravecobra.com.
A new theme
We have added a new theme to bravecobra.com.This one is Xanthia 2.0 based and should be completely XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant. The theme is currently not available for download. However we do hope you like it.
The final destination
As some of you know, bravecobra.com bought their own server. You can read more about it at the blogging pages. Well, we finally moved our entire domain to this server. This means that the articles are back online (using XSLT).
Other domains like xexpress.org will follow later on.
Started blogging...
bravecobra started blogging with wordpress (http://wordpress.org/). We'll see how far that'll go.I'll try to keep up to date on a more personal level than I've done before on these pages. Feel free to comment.
I'll also try to integrate this wordpress stuff into postnuke (when I can spare the time :sigh: ). That'd be a nice extra, won't it?
A new server...
A new server has been bought which will be installed shortly. Once this is done, most of the domains running here will move there. However this not affect any of our site visitors.Awaiting updates shortly...
Forum removed from the site.
Due to the fact that the forum wasn't really being used for conversation, but only as a way to contact me, I've removed it.Why use a full-blown forum, when email could suffice, right?Updated articles
We've updated our articles section making it a bit more pleasant to readAdded Wiki to the site
Today Wiki was added to the site. There are already some initial pages entered, but feel free to add more.Any information that might enrich the site is greatly appreciated.
BraveCobra comes out with another theme : bcPortal
BraveCobra.com created another theme: bcPortal. Since the succes of the last one, it was time to make a new one. This new theme will become available for download later, once all the little buggies are squashed.Let us know what you think!
New: A bug tracker for our projects
A bug tracker has been added to the site. If you were to find any bugs in the software that you can download at this site, please report them there. That should be easier for me to keep track of what to do.The bug forum will therefor be disabled although still available for reading.
